Matchday 30 – Workington AFC Official

Workington 0-1 Hebburn Town

With no exact date on Borough Park being demolished we took this opportunity to make our first & last visit.

Not a great game with Hebburn Town taking home the 3 points courtesy of a dubious first half penalty.

Admission was £14 with an attendance of 802. We don’t usually get programmes these days but for this occasion we purchased one for £3.

The #PiePintPinBadge set us back £13.50, with the Pie, peas & gravy at £5.50 worth every penny and definitely in the top 2 we’ve had so far this season.

Overall, I’m glad we got to see this place before it eventually disappears. A ground full of character but in desperate need of some repairs.
