Matchday 28 of the 2025/26 season saw us visit Runcorn Linnets Football Club for the New Years Day clash against Witton Albion.

A five goal thriller to start the New Year was a welcome boost after our first 0-0 draw on Boxing Day.

£11 admission on the gate with a decent sized crowd of 854 in attendance.

To the food hut and we paid £4.80 for a pint and a further £2 to keep a Linnets branded plastic pint pot.

Really disappointed with the pie though, £3.50 and it was seriously over cooked and rock hard on the bottom.

A decent club shop with almost anything you can think of being Linnets branded. We picked up a pin badge for £4 and a set of darts flights for another £1.

Overall a good set up at Linnets and an enjoyable visit.
