We took advantage of a reduced admission for this FA Cup 4th qualifying round tie and visited Altrincham FC as they hosted Harborough Town.

Admission was £15 reduced from the usual £20 for league games with 1812 in attendance. It’s been a while since we visited and saw the new fan zone for the first time in the far corner. A great idea and the space was well utilised and busy throughout the game with tvs showing the game live.
The pie!!! Where to start? At £4.50 it was overpriced and in all honesty the worst I’ve had in 17 games so far this season. Just about managed to at least eat the filling and try get some of my moneys worth.

Pint in the community sports hall set me back £5.50 for Poretti. Just above our average so far this season and not a bad drink.

We asked to have a look and film some content inside the club shop and the lovely ladies inside showed us this seasons kits (which we highly rate) and offered us a pin badge for our collection.

The game itself ended spectacularly, with Altrincham 2-0 up and cruising into the first round proper to Harborough equalising in the 99th minute and forcing a replay this coming Tuesday night.
