Club History

Westbury United was formed when Westbury Old Comrades FC joined forces with Westbury Great Western Railway XI. The club purchased the Meadow Lane site and moved to its current ground in that era.

Westbury joined the Western League in 1984/85 and won Division One in 1991/92 to gain promotion. After later spells back in Division One, the club won that title again in 2017/18, returning to the Western League Premier Division. A move to the Hellenic League followed in 2021/22, before Westbury joined the Southern League in 2022/23. The team finished tenth in 2022/23 and continued establishing itself at Step 4.
