Club History
Uxbridge Football Club was founded on 3 February 1871 and entered the FA Cup in 1873. The club’s early years were marked by a lack of a permanent home, but they enjoyed significant success in the late nineteenth century, including Middlesex Senior Cup wins and an appearance in the 1898 FA Amateur Cup final at Crystal Palace.
After many ground moves, Uxbridge bought land in Cleveland Road, Cowley in 1948 and named the ground Honeycroft after a nearby house. The club later moved to its current headquarters on Horton Road in 1978. Uxbridge have won multiple Middlesex cup honours and the London Challenge Cup, while a major modern milestone came when they earned promotion to Step 3 through the 2025/26 play-offs. This represented their first promotion in forty years and their first time competing at Step 3 in the club’s 155-year history.
