Club History
The club began as Deal Cinque Ports FC in the early 1900s and adopted the name Deal Town in 1920. It joined the Eastern section of the Kent League in 1909, later becoming a founder member of the Aetolian League after the Kent League folded in 1959. The club also spent time in the Southern League before returning to the Kent League in the early 1970s.
Deal’s honours include Kent League championships in 1953/54 and 1999/2000, as well as success in the Greater London League Cup and Kent cup competitions. The defining national achievement came in 2000, when Deal became the first Kent club to win the FA Vase, beating Chippenham Town 1–0 at Wembley. The club returned to Step 4 football in 2024 after winning the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division in 2023/24. That season also brought a strong FA Vase run and record home league attendances.
