Club History
Macclesfield FC were founded in 2020 as the successor to Macclesfield Town, which was liquidated after financial difficulties. The new club retained the historic Moss Rose and quickly climbed the pyramid. In 2024/25 the Silkmen won the Northern Premier League Premier Division with a record-breaking points total and returned to Step 2 for 2025/26.
