The Football Conference board have ordered the abandoned fixture from last weekend to be replayed.
County were leading 1-0 when the referee abandoned proceedings due to torrential rain leaving the pitch unplayable with just minutes remaining.
A statement on the Conference website read;
Following the abandonment of the Vanarama Conference North fixture between Hyde FC and Stockport County on Saturday, 28th March, due to the pitch becoming unsafe and unsuitable following a rainstorm, the Board of the Football Conference has examined the match referee’s report along with submissions by both clubs.
The Board has ordered the match to be replayed in its entirety under financial terms commensurate with a cup tie. A re-arranged date will be announced after consultation with the clubs.
Either club has the right of appeal against the Board’s decision to the Football Association.
As of yet neither club has responded to the leagues decision.
