News just in that Keith Briggs has stepped down as manager of Conference North side Stalybridge Celtic.
In a post on the Stalybridge Celtic Forum, chairman Rob Gorski announces Briggs steps down after taking the club as far as he can.
Stalybridge currently sit second bottom of the Conference North and five points adrift of safety.
In his first managerial role Briggs enjoyed 18 months in the Celtic hot seat and successfully kept them up last season when it looked likely they could have been relegated.
Despite a good start this season Celtic have since dropped down the league and survival looks increasingly unlikely.
