Glossop continue their fantastic FA Vase run and now have a two-legged semi-final against St Austell standing between them and a trip to Wembley. They earn their Team Of The Week nomination thanks to yesterday’s 3-1 quarter-final replay win over Shaw Lane Aquaforce.

Radcliffe Borough earn their first win under new manager Danny Johnson with a 2-1 win over Burscough. The welcome 3 points ease Borough’s relegation fears.

Following a run of bad results and a great deal of upheaval at the club, Skelmersdale kept their promotion hopes alive with a 3-0 victory over Ramsbottom United.

Clitheroe keep up a decent run of form with a 2-1 win over league favourites. A tremendous result for Simon Garners side especially to come from a goal down to win the game.

Ashton moved upto second in the EvoStik Northern Premier Division after a 3-2 win away at Buxton, last years play-off finalists are hot on the heals of leaders FC United and in great form as we approach the business end of the season.

Marine made it back to back wins for the first time this season with caretaker manager Sean Hessey winning both games since taking temporary charge.

As usual the voting closes at 5pm on Monday evening. The winning team will have their picture used as our header on Twitter and Facebook for the following week, and thanks to our sponsors at Hallmark Security they will receive one of our certificates as a small memento. IMG_6003
