NWCFL clubs to vote on Sports future at general meeting
The North West Counties League have issued a further statement on the future of member club Stockport Sports.
With outstanding debts and the failure to comply with instructions, the league have confirmed an extraordinary general meeting will take place on March 2nd 2015 to vote on wether to expel them from the league.
Should member clubs vote in favour of Stockport Sports being expelled from the league, their playing record this season will be expunged.
In an article in this weeks Non League Paper, they also state Stockport Sports chairman Wayne Ashworth has moved to Dubai with work and with league officials unable to contact him, the future for Stockport does indeed look bleak.
