Johnson moves to the SPL
Kidderminster Harriers Midfielder Marvin Johnson has left to club to join up with SPL giants Motherwell for an undisclosed fee.
Johnson who joined the club from Romulus FC in 2012 leaves the club having scored 20 goals in over 100 appearances for Harriers.
As recently as December Marvin was interviewed saying how hard he was working on and off the pitch, judging by this move it looks like all of his hard work has payed off.
In the interview Marvin went on to say:
“I feel more mature in the sense that I’m enjoying my football more and, instead of expecting things to happen, I’m making them happen; I feel better with each game,”
“Mark Creighton had a chat with me at the start of one of the training sessions on the first day of pre-season and it definitely helped.
“It was a boost to know that someone else has got that sort of belief in you – it gives you that 5edge to push on and show people what you can do.
“I feel more experienced at this level now which means I’m more settled and more comfortable on the pitch.
“I know what I can do at this level and I know what the other lads can do at this level too.
“They are good lads and it helps me confidence-wise knowing that I’m going to get the ball and knowing what positions to be in.”

Kidderminster have gone on to thank Marvin for all his efforts while at the club and wish him all the very best with his new ventures at Motherwell.
On a personal note I believe this is a great move for Marvin and shows despite what League you play in if
you work hard enough you will get your reward.
