Clitheroe Announce Two New Faces At Shawbridge

Clitheroe Clitheroe have boosted their ranks with two new additions to the squad. Goalkeeper Peter Collinge has joined from league rivals New Mils, while midfielder Joey Mullen has joined from AFC Fylde’s youth academy. No stranger to Shawbridge, Collinge returns after stints at Chorley and New Mills amongst others, to provide competition for current number one Alex Palffy. Whereas Mullen follows another previous loanee in Cory Bent coming from AFC Fylde’s academy. After enjoying a previous loan spell at Bamber Bridge earlier in the season, Mullen has experience in the Evo-Stik league and will look to get first team games and further his development. Leaving the club however is Danny Wilkins who joins local rivals Padiham.
