FC United to face Fylde in Round 3

FC United will face AFC Fylde in the FA Trophy 3rd Round this weekend after The Coasters defeated Telford in tonight’s FA Trophy Second Round tie.

After two postponements the game finally went ahead, and AFC Fylde wasted no time against higher Conference opposition taking a 17th minute lead through Liam Tomsett.

Danny Rowe added a second with around 20 minutes to play, and Josh Wilson got on the scoresheet on 77 minutes to give Fylde a 3-0 lead.

Danny Rowe added a fourth, his second, in injury time with a thunderous 35 yard strike to seal a convincing 4-0 win for the Conference North side.

FC United are scheduled to host Fylde at Curzon Ashton’s Tameside Stadium this Saturday with a 3pm KO.
