Salford have moved quickly to announce Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley as the new management duo.
As widely expected after the dismissal of Phil Power, the ex Ramsbottom managerial duo take over at Moor Lane.
Also joining them will be assistant Glenn Moses, who follows them from Rammy.
Both Johnson and Morley appeared for Salford back in their playing days so will be familiar faces for many at Moor Lane.
The duo bring with them a wealth of experience after 6 successful years at Ramsbottom, taking them from the North West Counties and turning them into an established EvoStik Northern Premier League, Premier Division side.
The pair will take charge for the first time in next weeks league match against Bamber Bridge, the scene of their famous victory in last years play-off final which no doubt caught the eye of their new employers and helped cement their name as the brightest young managers around the region.
They were in attendance today as Salford overcame Kendal Town 2-1 with Phil Neville and Paul Scholes helping oversee things from the dugout.
Ramsbottom have also moved quickly in replacing the pair, after installing club legend Jon Robinson as player/manager.
