One In One Out At Congleton

EDIT: Make that two in, as Congleton in the last few minutes have announced the return of Arron Kirk who left Congleton to join Winsford a few weeks ago.

Congleton Town have today confirmed the signing of Macclesfield Town player Jack Hunter on loan, whilst also confirming that striker Ben Halfacre has left the club to join Glossop North End.

Hunter is an ex Stoke City youth player, who is now a first year pro at Macclesfield and was due to make his debut at the recently postponed game against Alsager Town.

Ben Halfacre is a familiar name amongst the NWCFL fraternity after starting the season at Stockport Sports, scoring 12 times in the opening months. He moved to Congleton after the departure of then Sports manager Asa Crowe scoring a further 7 goals earning a move to title challengers Glossop.
