Cheshire League warmed up for their Regional Inter League Group Stage game against Lancashire Amateur League with a friendly win over a determined Tarporley side the first half Tarporley gave as good as they got CHRIS JACKSON almost fired Cheshire in front but his effort fizzed past the post further LEON GRANDISON and GED MCALISTER both went close but Tarporley also went close on a couple occasions from the lively DAN BALL but despite late first half pressure Cheshire were unable to break the spirited back line

Cheshire came out all guns blazing and opened the scoring on fifty minutes when MCALISTER volleyed home from ten yards five minutes later great work from LEON GRANDISON resulted in RYAN JACKSON side footing home JACKSON made it three with a neat finish and he completed his hat trick after more good work from LEON and KINGSLEY GRANDISISON but to their credit Tarporley never gave up and got the a goal their efforts deserved when DAN BALL slipped the ball home from twelve yards but Cheshire netted a fifth when a great pass from CHRIS JONES saw RYAN JACKSON burst through to score his fourth then with five minutes to go the goal of the night came when LEE MAYS curled home a sublime free kick from twenty yards
