Four ties settled on penalties while the Stockport Sports v Darwen game was postponed late in the day. Premier division leaders Runcorn Linnets bowed out against Cammell Laird, while in another upset Atherton Collieries beat defending champions Ashton Athletic.

1874 Northwich, Colne, Runcorn Town, Alsager, Bootle and Squires Gate all went through following away wins. While Glossop North End, West Didsbury & Chorlton, Rochdale Town and Widnes all went through on penalties.

Abbey Hey and Winsford United complete the Saturday line up after home wins over Maine Road and Irlam respectively.

Bacup and AFC Liverpool play tomorrow (Sun 26th Oct) to complete the draw.

Result from Sunday’s game sees AFC Liverpool win 3-2 against Bacup and puts them into the 3rd round to face Alsager Town.

The draw for the 3rd round which takes place on Saturday 29th of November is as follows.
